I awoke this morning, err, afternoon, at roughly 1pm. Considering I was up all night re-arranging my workspace, Monday Night Football, and eating Cookie Dough Ice Cream.
And it struck me, every morning I wake up hoping I am full of interesting items to place within my blog. Well..
I did not.
So I began researching what it takes to have a successful blog, a simple Google search turned up plenty of results. I came upon this website, and through a bit of Adsense I found what I was looking for.
Tim Ferriss has a WordPress blog, which is quite popular, and has fantastic amounts of interesting content. To my surprise, I found a post about Dr. Martin Luther King. This post Tim has is about how to respond to criticism, and featured “Letter from a Birmingham City Jail” by Dr. King.
I read this, which took most of an hour for me. Inspired, I scrolled down to see what the comments entailed, and to my excitement, I found about another great man Ghandi.
This lead me to reading http://www.kingdomnow.org/withinyou.html .
Now I know what you’re thinking, how did this become about historical figures?
Well, the point I am trying to make is that success isn’t an easy thing to grasp. And blogging at times is much harder.
So I have decided to create a relevant blog for interesting facts, easily compounded throughout my posts. Throwing away the idea that this will make me anything, monetary wise, but personally wealthy.
On another note, Junior at TrendyBlackGuy has considered me to join him on this cultured site. I am quite excited about this as it holds many of the things I am currently interested in.
Thanks Junior.
